COVID-19

In this time of a global pandemic, SDM Multicultural Community Center  continues to  show care and support to all the individuals who are underrepresented in New York City. it is our goal to keep the individuals we support, our staff and ourselves safe in this crucial time.

Also, we are adhering to the guidelines of the Disease Control and Prevention, state and city health officials in an effort to combat this disease. 

Here are the steps we are taking to help flatten the curve of the Corona Virus:

• Mandating staff to cover their faces and wear gloves at all times
• Encouraging everyone to frequently wash their hands
• Maintaining social distancing
• Sanitizing our program site 
• Following safety protocols 
• Staying informed and informing others as well
• Extending our reach to anyone that is financially impacted by COVID-19 and is in need of food

People are inclined to be resilient by nature and we should focus on the fact that this too shall pass.
